Open level - Pay What You Can - Shaolin Kung Fu classes. No prior experience necessary. The training introduces Shaolin Martial Arts to the student. Basic skills  (Ji Ben Gong ) include stretching, stances, kicks, hand movements, meditation and empty hand forms and sparring. All classes are between 60-90 minutes long.

Focus Pad/ Kicking Shield Training

Building on a sound base of well learned fundamentals we move onto working with equipment. Develop explosive power and focus using pads and kicking shields. Open level. Small group only, maximum 5 participants.                     Uptown/ downtown locations.

 

Qigong/ Meditation

Qigong is a gentle, strengthening and meditative exercise as well as a dynamic stretching and movement exercise that increases lung capacity, muscle strength, flexibility, balance and overall health. One of the main goals of this training is to enhance and maintain the “chi” or life force within the body. The class format consists of a warm up, ” breath work ” which is gentle breathing combined with movement and finally instruction and practice of simple forms. During the training the participant will learn a series of basic fundamental movements as well as a short to medium length series of pre-arranged choreographed movements. All skill levels and ages welcome. Small group only, maximum 5 participants . Uptown/ downtown locations.
